With Google announcing that the new Pixel 4 series phones will not be launched in India, Pixel users in India will have to brace for more disappointment. Those of you who were expecting to get the camera features of the new Pixel 4 on older Pixel phones via software update note that Google has confirmed that it’s not happening.

Having said that the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL users will get the Astrophotography feature that will help people to shoot stars through a software update going forward.
Meanwhile, Google is reportedly working on a fix to improve the Face Unlock in the Pixel 4 phones. The company is said to be working on a software feature that would need users to open their eyes to unlock the phone. The latest Google Pixel 4 smartphones doesn’t come with a fingerprint scanner and it only relies on Face Unlock to secure them. Google in its support page has officially warned Pixel 4 users that “the phone can be unlocked by someone who looks a lot like you, like an identical sibling.”
“We’ve been working on an option for users to require their eyes to be open to unlock the phone, which will be delivered in a software update in the coming months. In the meantime, if any Pixel 4 users are concerned that someone may take their phone and try to unlock it while their eyes are closed, they can activate a security feature that requires a pin, pattern or password for the next unlock.,” said Google in a statement.
