Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will be going on pre-orders in India starting Thursday. Online, the new Pixel hardware will be exclusively available via Flipkart in India. The Mountain View company, soon after the global launch, had revealed that the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will be also going on sale from over 1,000 offline stores in the country.
For interested consumers, the India pre-orders kick-off at 12am on Thursday and deliveries for the Pixel 2 will begin from November 1 and Pixel 2 XL on November 15.Read more ↓
Flipkart in a release has revealed some exclusive pre-order offers on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones which include a free Sennheiser Headset worth Rs. 11,990; Rs. 8,000 cashback on EMI transactions done with HDFC Bank credit cards; 50 percent buyback value when you want to upgrade the Pixel; extra Rs. 5,000 off on exchange of select phone models, and no cost EMI starting at Rs. 3,389 per month. Additionally, Flipkart has also announced it will give away the Google Daydream View 2 headset to five selected winners of the social media contest run on Facebook which ends on Tuesday. The online retailer also says that selected few customers may stand a chance to get the special packaging box designed by Google during the deliveries.
The Pixel 2 price in India starts at Rs. 61,000 which is slightly below the price of iPhone 8 base variant which comes at Rs. 64,000. The Pixel 2 XL starts at Rs. 73,000 for the 64GB storage option which is equivalent to the price tag of base variant of the iPhone 8 Plus. The 128GB variants of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are priced in India at Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 82,000, respectively.
