Amazon and Vodafone Idea on Friday, March 15 announced a strategic partnership as a part of which all Idea Nirvana postpaid customers will be eligible to get a year long Amazon Prime subscription absolutely free. As a part of the newly announced partnership, the Idea Nirvana postpaid users will not only get access to Amazon’s fast shipping services but also to the company’s other services including the Amazon Prime Music and the Amazon Prime Video absolutely free.
As a part of the offering Idea’s Nirvana postpaid users, who opt for the base plan worth Rs 399, which offers users 40GB data along along with 100 local and national SMSs with free incoming and outgoing calls during roaming, and above at no additional cost. This means that Nirvana users, who have opted for a plan or Rs 499, Rs 649, Rs 999, Rs 1,299, Rs 1,999, will be able to get access to Amazon Prime’s services for free.Read more ↓
In addition to getting access to Amazon’s slew of servies, Idea Nirvana postpaid users will also get a free access to the Amazon Prime Reading, which in turn would give them acess to countless free books from Amazon’s digital library. Besides this, they would also get “unlimited free one and two day delivery, exclusive launches, early access to sale events and many more discounts on Amazon,” Idea said in a press release.
“Through this strategic relationship with Amazon Prime, we are further strengthening our content proposition and our commitment to offer the best to our customers…We are confident that this association will provide both Vodafone and Idea customers a seamless on-the-go shopping and entertainment experience to our customers,” said Avneesh Khosla, Operations Director Marketing, Vodafone Idea Ltd.
Notably, Vodafone announced a partnership with Amazon Prime last year as the company offered one year of complementary Amazon Prime membership to all its Red postpaid users. And now, nearly six months after their merger, the Vodafone Idea are extending similar benefits, as enjoyed by Vodafone Red users, to the Idea Nirvana users as well.
